MY EXPERIENCE

So, let's get started with my experience with GDG Dev Fest 2022 Patna.

It was an ~8hrs long event with different variety of agendas. At first, there was an introductory session and some details of the fest were shared by the hosts.

After that Adit Lal (one of the speakers) introduced himself and shared about Andromeda-open source Jetpack Compose Design System which is a new add-on package for the Substratum theme engine. It is both an Android application as well as a companion desktop client for the Substratum app to work.

Then our Second Speaker Anubhav Singh confronts, introduced himself and shared about "Scaling Computer Vision- from tutorials to fundraising", it was a fun session where he shared about real-world problem-solving and fundraising.

Then our third speaker Mayank Gupta shared about "Working on Graph Database using Neo4j using Python application".

Then our fourth speaker Pankaj Rai came and shared about MVVM architecture with jetpack compose which is often used in conjunction with the Android Jetpack library, which provides a collection of libraries and tools to help developers build high-quality Android apps more quickly and easily.

Then our fifth speaker Ayush Shekhar came and talked on the topic "The Flutter Curve", where he shares the benefits of using the Flutter framework in software development.

After that our sixth speaker Harsh Akshit shared about " App security for beginners" where he mentions how one can secure our software from potential cyber threats.

Then our second-last speaker Insha Ramin pitched on "Developer Advocacy as a Career" where she mentions how one can build our career through Developer Relations.

And at the end, our last speaker Rajan Jha speaks on the "Importance of Branding and Digital Marketing". He mentions how one can advocate for one's product and scale it up.

Refreshment Session

There was one refreshment session in between which was a lunch break. The food was vegetarian, it was good and satisfying.

Gaming Session

There was a gaming session too in this event where we used to answer some questions and whoever answer it correctly, he/she will be awarded a prize.

Photo Session

There was one photo session with the speakers and organizers of this event.

Swag Distribution

At last, there was a swag distribution session where the speakers and attendees were getting some cool goodies like T-shirts, hoodies, stickers, notepads, etc.

I too got a cool T-shirt from the event.

Conclusion

Every single speaker shared about their career experience on how they reached where they are. It was a great experience for me to listen to them and it is very difficult to express the kind of value I got from this event.

Verdict

I would highly recommend to all the developers to attend this awesome event, you will get to know about new technologies and people who are into tech and improve your network.

That's the end of the blog, thanks for reading it till the end.
